SUMMER CAMP 2020

Here is what to expect from camp this time around

Camp is going to look very different this year. But it will aim to be just as safe and for sure just as fun!

These rules below are set with the best intentions and thoughts on virus safety based on information from the CDC and WHO. However if your artist or someone in your family or isolation group is at risk of major harm from COVID-19... please DO NOT send your artist to camp.

If you have any questions or suggestions please reach out!

• Minimum number of campers to start a camp is 3 (2 weeks prior to camp start), maximum in the camp is 4. (The teacher, Mrs. Lisa makes 5 for March Art Studios and Hidden Talents will have a maximum of 5 people in the studio which keeps us following the 'no more than 10 in a group' rule)

• Final check in to the camp will happen 2 weeks prior to camp start. Payment will be collected then as well. If anything changes with the health of your camper or within their family that is COVID-19 related, please contact March Art Studios immediately and a refund will be given.

• If your camper has a fever or cough please DO NOT send your camper to the studio (and please do contact your doctor). A pro-rated refund will be given. Touchless temperatures may be taken before entry into studio. If your camper develops a cough and sore throat throughout the camp day we will ask for that camper to be picked up and all camp families will be notified.

• Campers must know how to cough and sneeze into their elbow, refrain from touching their face and how to wash their hands for 20 seconds.

• Masks are NOT required for campers but IS for their teacher (I've watched kids use masks and I believe they touch their face far too much for it to be beneficial). This rule is up for discussion within each weekly group.

• Campers will sit 6 feet apart, have assigned seats as well as cubbies (for personal snacks and bags) and use sanitized art tools and supplies set aside for only them. There will NOT be shared tools or supplies.

• Mrs. Lisa, the art teacher, will try to stay 6 feet from campers but will more than likely get closer than that at times.

• Snacks will be eaten inside the studio in a designated area while staying 6 feet apart. We'll take outside, social distancing, walking breaks to get a little fresh air and shake our sillies out as needed. OR breaks will be done entirely inside the studio. This will be decided per weekly group.

• The studio will be sanitized as needed, especially after each day and thoroughly after each week.

• Kids aren't perfect... humans aren't perfect! We will for sure do our best to follow these rules but if you fear getting COVID-19 please do not have your artist join camp as the only guarantee to not get it, is to isolate at home.

• These rules may alter as we learn more or restrictions are lifted. Up to date info will be emailed 2 weeks prior to camp.

• If the stay at home rules have not been lifted prior to camp start, I will aim for camps to be enjoyed virtually.
